A Glimpse of the Past for the Future

Arches National Park in Utah has a rich history of human existence and geological processes that date back 300 million years. Once, a sea flowed into this area, and as it evaporated, it left behind sea beds covered with sediments that eventually formed compressed rock layers. Over time, these rock layers have eroded, creating new rock formations. Native Americans inhabited this region until around 700 years ago.
